West One Plaza's newest bar!
The Hop is a traditional Real Ale House with an intimate atmosphere for live music, favouring the 'unplugged' feel that comes from close contact between artists and members of the public.
This unique concept began in late 2008 as an amalgamation between Jamie Lawson director of Ossett Brewery, Mike Heaton drummer from Yorkshire Indie band Embrace and ex-Virgin Japan MD Mike Inman. With over 13 years brewing experience and over 35 years knowledge of the music industry, The Hop concept was born.
The Hop is now open in West One Plaza, bringing its unique mix to Sheffield following the success of its outlets in Wakefield & Leeds.
At the heart of The Hop is Real Ale, a unique, traditional product and Britain's National Drink. Our bar serves a range of real ales from Ossett Brewery as well as guest ales. The Hop in Leeds won CAMRA Pub of the Season in autumn 2010.
The Pie Hole at The Hop serves only the best quality and finest tasting pies around. Sourced from the Multi-Award winning Andrew Jones Pies 'n' Pasties of Huddersfield and served with mouth watering boozy beer infused trimmings, they are simply scrumptious.
Pie, Mushy Peas, Mash & Gravy served from 12-7pm every day.
